So, this report is focused on the current condition of media industries in Bihar, job cycle in the sector and 'the feasibility of opening a Media institute in Bihar. And before going on the media, this is the snapshots of current economical condition of Bihar.
Bihar is the emerging state in terms of economic development and one of the most consistent performer in development index. Although the other aspects have to be improve yet. Govt of Bihar have a vision to develop the Bihar's econmical conditiona and also want to accelerate the available economical source. Tourism, Sugar, Agriculture & allied sector are the main source of economy for the Bihar govt. From the passed decades, private bodies are taking interest in few sector like education and health. And education is the prime concern of Bihar govt.
Large number of students use to migrate from their home state to other cities in India to get the desired education. Govt of Bihar has already invested good amount in primary education and central govt is also supporting the education environment of Bihar.

Media industries in India are going to hit the 2.34 trillion in 2021(estimated) and currently it is around 1.67 trillion((US$23.9 billion). 'Media & Entertainment' industry is growing with the average growth rate of 20.72%. And it can be categorized into the more than 10 categories.This is the current figure of 'Media & Entertainment industries of India.
So, how could Bihar lags behind this growth. Bihar has a good participation in this sector and it is going up day by day.

Media and Entertainment industries in Bihar are not very much vibrant than the other state. But the attraction towards the journalism and film industries among the Bihari students are always visible. It is very unfortunate that there are no such bodies or institutes who have current time graph of Bihar's media. Even govt. of Bihar don't say anything on Media, to Media and for Media.
Media in Bihar used to understand as a very traditional manner and limited to broadcast media only. But the 'new information technology' have changed many thing. Youtube channels and Facebook pages are the famous source of news publishing medium there. Press is still very important and TV has only attraction but not such development and opportunities. Present govt is trying to establish a film city near the Patna(in Rajgir). With the help of 'The Bihar State Film Development and Finance Corporation', few Bollywood films have been shot in Bihar. But the film industry is still not structured and because of this, there are no records of it's markets in real time.

Print Media is still relevant and popular in Bihar. Although. it is also showing growth all over the country. Bihar is known as a Hindi belt where as Urdu and English dailies are also doing good business there. Here is the graph of press size in terms of edition.

Television industry is also making good sound in Bihar. In the last periods of first decade of 21st century, few popular regional channel got started and along with this, new substation of mainstream news channel were also installed there offices in capital city of Bihar.
